What is Your Cloud Strategy?

We are Cloud agnostic and now support containerisation making everyone's life easier. We started with our own hosted services and now clients have started to take the first Container images. 

In a recent conversation with a large and sophisticated global client, we held our breath as our expectations had been set that the initial upload, scanning, and acceptance would be tortuous and likely to take many weeks if not months - this was based on several recent experiences. 

We were delighted to hear that the process has been completed in 1 day with no significant vulnerabilities found. Additionally, we were told that seldom do vendors present their first packages and get this result. 

But the best was the last unsolicited comment that we are most proud of; "This was a good indication of the vendor's quality .. good work team TAINA !" 

What are the Benefits of Using Containers? 

• Consistency: The benefits of using containers are that they are consistent. A container is the same every time you start it, there is not any individual configuration by people. They are also tiny, only a few megs, so a container can be downloaded and booted up in seconds.

What are the Benefits of Using Kubernetes?

• Scalability: A big benefit of using Kubernetes is that it is scalable, and it can dynamically scale up the number of resources it has to meet demand in a much quicker way than before. Before Kubernetes, you would have to create a server, install everything you needed onto it and then configure your application. 
• Reduce the risk of delays and timeouts: Kubernetes & Containers takes care of that part for you, this means that you should never have customer-facing timeouts or delay during peak traffic.
